The Idea:
Redraw the first comic book I ever made.
The Rules:
I must not degrade the spirit of the book, and so must treat my younger self as the writer of the comic. My younger self is an auteur, and not a single word may be altered from his original script. Character designs and actions must be consistent with the young author's designs.
My younger self could not care less about matching the original panel layouts, or original page count. So long as not a single word is changed, so long as every scene in the original book is included, and so long as I add nothing other than redesigning the drawn page, my younger self is content.
And so, in this spirit, we are now transmitting MONSTER MASH twice a week! Written by Rafer Roberts, age 9. Drawn by Rafer Roberts, age 31.

A new page every Monday and Thursday until it is done.
Hosted at ComicSpace.

Fubar was the comic strip that I did for Clemson's school paper, The Tiger.

I really tried to piss off the uptight, right-wing, religious geeks who went to that school. Fubar only ever got one angry letter, and that was in regards to a strip that just wasn't very funny.

The thumbnails below are some of my favorites from the series.

Anyway, click on pic for larger image.

I am still working on getting the rest of the strips online.
